Sub-Contract Services

Abacus offers a range of sub contract services centred on the 15m press brake located in the heart of our manufacturing facility near Nottingham.

Companies looking to take advantage of the sheet steel press brake unit, with a huge capacity of 1,300 tonnes over its 15metres, can have a production programme tailored to their needs.

Press Brake
We offer a flexible approach to our customers. We can provide the benefit of our purchasing power within the steel industry both to source and process the products you need.

Otherwise we can simply work closely with you in processing your products with materials supplied by you.

Plasma Cutting & Seam Welding

Alongside the press brake we also offer the facility of:

  • A gas plasma cutter, capable of cutting steel up to a thickness of 80mm
  • Twin seam automatic seam welding unit, capable of welding a straight 15m section
